How to Book

Decide on which type of sailing experience you would like to participate. Contact us by phone or e-mail to discuss your options. The price of your sailing experience may increase or decrease to reflect the changes requested by you. We will then confirm if your chosen date is available and calculate the total cost for you. Print and fill out this booking form, then post it to us with your cheque within the following seven days, (Places cannot be held any longer than this). We will send your booking confirmation and joining instructions by return.

Booking Terms and Conditions

When making your booking you guarantee that you have the authority to and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. A contract exists as soon as we issue our Joining Instructions / Booking Confirmation Form. You should check the details of your confirmation carefully to ensure that it accurately reflects the booking you have requested and immediately inform us of any discrepancies or alterations. If the sailing date is less than 14 days from the date of issue of the Booking Confirmation Form this should be done within 24 hrs of that date. Otherwise we would expect a response within 7 working days.

The prices are subject to change. Once you have made your booking and paid a minimum 25% the cost of your sailing experience will not normally be subject to any change. This does not apply to invoice errors or omissions. The balance of the price of your sailing experience must be paid at least 28 days before the event. If the balance is not paid in time, we may cancel your sailing event and retain your deposit.

If, after your deposit has been received, you wish to change your sailing event in any way, we will do our utmost to make these changes, but it may not always be possible. If you or any member of your party are unable to proceed with the sailing experience, you can transfer the booking to a substitute person, providing they satisfy all the conditions applicable to the original booking and your request is received by us at least 14 days prior to departure. Any request for changes to be made must be in writing signed by you or the Lead Name in your party. You will be asked to pay any further cost we incur in making this alteration. Should you request a major alteration within 28 days of departure date (such as a change of date) then this will be treated as a cancellation and re- booking. Clients wishing to add to a party after the initial booking will only be able to do so if sufficient places are available. This should not be automatically assumed to be possible and you should ring the office to check first. The price of your sailing experience may increase or decrease to reflect the changes requested by you.

You may cancel your sailing experience at any time. Written notification from an individual or the Lead Name in you group is required. Cancellation charges are payable as follows:

Sailing may be cancelled or curtailed by us in extreme weather conditions which may make it dangerous. In this event we will reschedule your event. Please call the centre if in any doubt. As with other activity-based experiences, water sports activities contain an element of risk. It should be understood that participation in these activities is your decision and at your risk. The skipper of a yacht has primary responsibility for the safety of the crew guests and craft at all times. The Skippers decision is final at all times. In the interests of safe conduct of your sailing experience we may order a change to your itinerary, decide whether or not conditions are safe to use a craft or make a passage and whether this should be under power or sail.

Your party agree to accept the authority of the skipper and crew through out the voyage. If any member of your party commits an illegal act including carrying or taking of drugs on the boat, is under the influence of excessive alcohol, consistently disregards the instructions of the skipper, or has disruptive or difficult behaviour. The skipper reserves the right to terminate their voyage with no responsibility to them. In such an event there will be no right to any refund.

Should damage or loss to yachts, persons and equipment be caused as a result of wilful damage or gross negligence by a client, a client under the influence of alcohol or drugs or as a result of not obeying the company staff ’s instructions, then he or she will be liable for the full amount of repair or replacement and any resulting costs. The skipper reserves the right to terminate the voyage. Adults will at all times be responsible for minors in their charge.

Our yachts and crew are fully insured. Our policy provides full cover for the equipment and yachts and third party liability cover for your skipper and crew. However we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to the property of the client.
