Fun days are just

magic of sailing on an
ocean going yacht, or maybe you want to brush up on your sailing skills.

Full
Day Sailing
Your experience starts at 10:00hrs/am with coffee, biscuits
and a safety briefing, then your Yachtmaster skipper will introduce you
to the basics of sailing and in an amazingly short time you will be
sailing down to the Hamble or Cowes. After a lunch break ashore,
alongside a marina, spend the afternoon practising your sailing skills
on the Solent or Southampton water. You can choose to take an active
part in the sailing or just sit back in the cockpit and relax. All refreshments
afloat are included. Returning back to your port of origin by
approximately 17:00hrs (05:00pm). With a glass of wine to toast your
return.

Half Day
Sailing
This half day adventure starts at 10:00hrs/am. On arrival you will receive
an initial safety briefing with your coffee and biscuits. Then after an
introduction to the basics of sailing, head off into the Solent or
Southampton water where you will have plenty of opportunity to helm the
yacht, handle the sails or just sit back and enjoy the experience. All refreshments
afloat are included. Returning back to your port of origin by
approximately 13:00hrs ( 01:00pm).

Evening
Sail
Your experience starts at 17:30hrs (05:30pm) with a
safety briefing,
then your Yachtmaster skipper will introduce you to the basics of
sailing. In an amazingly short time you will be sailing your way out
through the buoys on Southampton Water. Enjoy a glass of chilled white
wine as you sail back into port at approximately 19:30hrs (07:30pm). You can choose
to take an active part in the sailing or just sit back in the secure
cockpit and enjoy the
evening.

Important
Information
Numbers
There will be up to a maximum of seven people on
board, plus the skipper.
Minimum age is 13. Maximum weight 20 stone. No previous sailing
experience is required. Non-swimmers are welcome.
Where
are we
The
yachts are based on the South Coast, in Southampton and Hamble,
with easy access to Southampton water and the Solent area.
The
weather
Sailing may be cancelled or curtailed in
extreme weather conditions which would make it dangerous. Please call
the office if in any doubt.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to wave you off from
the Marina, but will not be able to join you on board.
Dress code
Dress casually in several layers of clothing
to allow for hot/cold weather. It is important to bring an anorak and soft-soled shoes (e.g.
trainers/deck shoes).
A hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are essential on sunny days.
life-jackets and waterproofs will be provided. Don't forget your camera!
Availability
Selected days from April to
October, and occasionally outside these months too. All booking is
subject to availability so please book early to avoid disappointment.
